Michelle Darkin Price is primarily a film and TV actress although at the time of writing she has just returned from The Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2018 where she performed in Hillary's Kitchen. She has recently recorded Breaking In for radio, a play by writer Adrian Reynolds. She has also played Juliet in the film 20th Century Tribe, directed by upcoming director Joe Roguszka. Crossing Paths, a short by B Squared Films in which she starred last year, is currently doing well on the festival circuit. Michelle has also worked on well-known TV soaps Emmerdale and Doctors, alongside starring in cult 'change out of a fiver' supernatural thriller The House of Afflictions by Mr Stitch.

Her training, whilst untypical, includes A level Drama/Theatre Studies. However, she actually graduated from university with BSc Honours 2:1 in Engineering and Business. After spending a number of years in the corporate business sector, she left to set up her own small business The Green Box Shop, an eco shop which she ran for five years. Since returning to acting in her early 40's, an inevitability she says, she has trained with various teachers at The Nottingham Actor's Workshop, Nottingham Actor's Studio and The Actor's Guild in London.

She currently lives in the UK with her husband of 25 years, their three wonderful children and Rosie the dog.

'Why did I go back into acting? she says.... 'it was inevitable. Loved it as a youngster and love it now. I've come full circle!'
